Apple Pay goes live in the UK today
The Apple Pay service launches today (Tuesday 14th July) in the UK with support from more than 250,000 stores, including Waitrose, Boots and Marks & Spencer.
The service allows iPhone and Apple Watch users to pay for goods and services as well as travel around London through their devices.
At launch, 8 banks will support Apple Pay. These are American Express, First Direct, Nationwide, NatWest, Royal Bank of Scotland, Santander and Ulster Bank. Coming soon will be support for first direct, HSBC and TSB amongst others.
